Here are the pictures I took while on my three-day trip to DC for my college orientation.

...yeah, we had a little trouble with Jon Law on our way. That's all I'm going to say about that. The GW hippo - an "unoffical" mascot. There's a funny story behind the statue but it's too long for a caption. you can see my reflection in the car window - neato! These are my legs - neato again!

We got there a night early, so I stayed in a hotel - it had a refrigerator and everything! ...but it was empty. The hotel had this cool mirror setup that reflected you into infinity. I spent about an hour in awe. The buildings in DC are beautiful.

This company makes "chutes". I actually really want a chute for my house. Stairs are super-lame compared to a chute. here's this guy - he's a construction worker. oh man, this guy hated me. ah... you got any gum?

This is the greatest professor ever. He was all tired and stuff and he was all shuffly. I liked him a lot. Lots of construction going on. I just really liked these guys. A nice shot of this outdoor/indoor mall thingy.
